Diagnostic and Specialist Access Insurance (DSAI)

SMG offers Diagnostic and Specialist Access Insurance (DSAI), one of Canada’s newest insurance products. DSAI provides expedited access to diagnostic examinations (MRI and CT scans) and specialist consultations to insureds that are placed on a medical wait-list greater than 21 days. DSAI is available as an employer group benefit in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.

	Mandatory Participation
	No medical underwriting or evidence of insurability required
	Employees are eligible to age 75
	Affordable monthly premiums
	Access to the DSAI Helpline for coordination of the required physician recommended diagnostic procedure and/or to schedule appointments for Specialist referral, and make travel arrangements if necessary.
