IAP Kids Plus™ Accident Insurance
IAP Kids Plus™ Accident Insurance is a voluntary student accident plan, protecting students and their families from the high costs of serious injury from unexpected accidents. It is a low-cost supplement to any existing health and dental insurance, with most benefits paid in addition to any other public, group or private insurance. IAP Kids Plus™ Accident Insurance provides 24/7 coverage for serious injury and sickness for children from six months to 19 years of age from September to September, including weekends and during holidays. Parents and adult students can also be covered under the IAP Kids Plus™ Accident Insurance.

Additional benefits of IAP Kids Plus™ Accident Insurance include expenses that are not reimbursable under provincial health insurance plans, such as private tutor, wage loss and babysitting benefits.

IAP Kids Plus™ Accident Insurance enrolment applications are distributed to participating schools at the beginning of each school year.

Student Accident Insurance
Our blanket Student Accident Insurance is the most complete accident insurance, and can help to reduce school boards potential accident insurance liability claims. We offer three school plans, with high benefit coverage. Our plans not only cover students for injury, but can also include teachers and non-teaching employees of the school.

We also offer an upgrade to include an enhanced option package – providing comprehensive coverage for ambulance services, chiropractic treatments, physiotherapy and registered massage therapy.

Student Accident Insurance is ideal for licensed daycares, pre-schools, elementary schools and secondary schools, both public and private. School boards are encouraged to contact their broker or IAP for a special quotation.

University and College Student Accident Insurance
Special Markets Group provides student accident insurance for universities and colleges, to reduce the university or college’s accident liability insurance claims. Our student accident insurance program offers coverage for dental, vision, hospital and paramedical, accidental death, total or permanent disability, and out-of province/country medical insurance.

University and college student accident insurance is ideal for post-secondary education institutions and groups. Hospital medical insurance for foreign students is also available. Universities and colleges are encouraged to contact their broker or IAP for a special quotation.
